Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn complex processes or procedures and grow in a scientific field.
  • Team player with experience working with others to achieve a goal.
  • Ability to work on-site, M-F with flexible schedule as needed.
  • Will be required to stand for several hours and lift up to 25lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic molecular and biochemical analyses on animal specimens including fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, cell isolation, and culture.
  • Collect and integrate data; review literature for relevant sources and methods.
  • Manage mouse colony: breeding, litters, weaning.
  • Maintain lab equipment and stock items; keep detailed records.
  • Prepare media and solutions; conduct sterile techniques.
