The Arc Lexington is seeking a Peer Mentor I to work with young adults in the Transitions program in New York. You will help students develop academic, career, and life skills while serving as a positive role model and providing encouragement and support.

The role may involve attending classes with students, guiding them in positive relationships, supporting community activities, and promoting responsible decision-making to help them grow toward independence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current college enrollment or recent college graduation is required.
• Valid NYS driver's license is required.

• Attend classes with students as needed.
• Help students build positive relationships and navigate new experiences.
