The Arc Lexington in Cobleskill, NY is seeking a Peer Mentor I to work with young adults in the Transitions program, helping them build confidence, independence, and essential life and career skills.

You will serve as a positive role model, provide guidance, and support students as they navigate new experiences, form healthy relationships, and pursue personal goals, with flexible day, evening, and weekend shifts and paid training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current college enrollment or recent college graduation is required.
• Valid NYS driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in developing academic, career, and life skills.
• Serve as a positive role model, providing guidance and support.
• Help students navigate new experiences and work toward their personal goals.
• Support transitions program activities and student growth.
