The Arc Lexington is seeking a Peer Mentor I to work with young adults in the Transitions program, helping them build academic, career, and life skills for greater independence. You will serve as a positive role model, offering guidance and support as students pursue personal goals.

Responsibilities include attending classes with students, supporting community activities, and encouraging responsible decision-making while promoting growth and confidence.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Currently enrolled in college or recently graduated.
• Valid NYS driver's license required.

Responsabilités

• Work directly with young adults in the Transitions program to develop academic, career, and life skills.
• Provide guidance, encouragement, and support as students navigate new experiences and goals.
• Assist with activities that promote independence, positive relationships, and personal growth.
