Transitions is a program of The Arc Lexington that supports high school graduates and young adults with autism spectrum disorders to build academic, career, life, and independent living skills in Mayfield, Cobleskill, and Albany. As a Peer Mentor I, you will work directly with students to help them gain confidence and independence through hands-on guidance and supportive coaching.

You'll be a positive role model, encouraging growth, facilitating positive relationships, and helping students

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current college enrollment or recent college graduation is required.
• Valid NYS driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in developing academic, career, and life skills for greater independence.
• Serve as a positive role model, providing guidance, encouragement, and support.
• Support students in attending classes, building relationships, and making responsible decisions.
