Job summary

The Arc of Madison County, Inc. is seeking a Transition Specialist/Job Coach to support Pre-ETS instruction and community employment opportunities. The role collaborates with schools and staff to deliver training, assess needs, and document progress for funding requirements.

Responsibilities include traveling to schools, coordinating curricula, and assisting individuals with disabilities toward competitive employment while maintaining strong communication with caregivers and coordinators.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• At least one year experience in day habilitation or residential program required.
• Other social services field may be substituted at the discretion of the Executive Director.

Responsibilities

• Instructs Pre Employment Transition classes for students with disabilities.
• Travel to assigned schools to provide Pre ETS training.
• Utilize virtual support services to deliver programs when needed.
• Prepare accurate documents to meet funding source requirements.
• Collaborate with the Program Coordinator and teachers to schedule sessions and develop curricula.
• Assist with community experiences and supported employment activities.
