Job summary

WORK Inc. seeks a Transitional Specialist to train young adults with disabilities and help design consumer-directed support services. You will promote independence, build relationships, and guide learners aged 14–22 toward planning their next steps in life.

Responsibilities include supervising participants in varied settings, implementing discovery-based techniques, and ensuring safety and compliance with DDPC, OSHA, and DOL regulations. A high school diploma and driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Two - three year experience working with young adults with disabilities.
• Second language skills including American Sign Language preferred.
• Driver's License required and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide skills training to young adults with disabilities in community, vocational, and educational facilities.
• Support students on internships by understanding and maintaining tasks and requirements.
• Attend IEP, risk management, and close out meetings and document progress notes.
