Job summary

Transdev in Boston, MA is seeking a Yard Supervisor to manage yard operations at Washington, Freeport, and Readville locations. The role combines field and office duties to deliver reliable transportation services and improve on-time performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. College coursework preferred.
• Two years transit-related or supervisory experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Provides hands-on customer service and information to customers to ensure World Class Service.
• Manages schedule compliance and helps departures to improve on-time performance.
• Monitors pre-trip inspections for vehicle safety and compliance.
• Dispatches buses/drivers for incidents; assigns routes and personnel in the yard.
• Coaches drivers on safety and performance; supervises in safety and scheduling matters.
• Ensures yard coverage with appropriate vehicles and personnel; uses systems to monitor and dispatch.
