Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with large data sources and data analysis.
• Familiarity with transit systems, NYC geography, and land use planning concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Organizational, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance for improving bus service in NYC.
• Perform data collection and analysis to evaluate current and future bus service.
• Make or evaluate proposals to adjust bus stops and routes.
• Develop maps and graphics for non-technical audiences.
• Review public and stakeholder feedback on Bus Network Redesign plans.
• Participate in public outreach and route changes implementations.
• Collaborate with MTA departments and external agencies and officials.
• Perform various fieldwork assignments as needed.
