Job summary

New York City Department of Transportation (NYC DOT) seeks candidates to support the Transit Development unit in planning, design, and implementation of bus priority projects and related transit improvements. Qualifications

  • A baccalaureate degree and two years of experience in community work or related duties.
  • High school graduation or equivalent and six years of related experience.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience with at least one year of qualifying experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning, design and implementation of bus priority projects.
  • Support planning analyses and capital project reviews.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including MTA.
  • Conduct outreach, public workshops, and presentations.
  • Develop proficiency in GIS, CAD, and traffic analysis tools.
