Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Route Checks in Jamaica, NY. You will protect clients across transit facilities, maintain a visible presence, and provide excellent customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors.

Responsibilities include regular patrols of depots and terminals, credential verification, access monitoring, incident response, and meticulous log keeping per site procedures.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of transit facilities and surrounding areas.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, medical situations, and critical events calmly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors following site procedures.
• Conduct patrols of bus depots, terminals, and parking areas to identify unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and document actions taken in reports.
• Keep logs and shift communications up to date.
