Job summary

Allied Universal in Denver, CO is seeking a Security Officer Train Unarmed to patrol transit facilities and serve the public with professionalism. This full-time role offers a $21.00 per hour pay rate and a schedule that includes afternoon/evening shifts to support 24/7 operations.

The position requires at least one year of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid license where required.

Qualifications

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to transit passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, vehicles, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, passenger concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized entry when applicable, and help maintain an orderly environment for public transportation operations.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements.
