Job summary

Allied Universal in Denver, CO is hiring a Security Officer Transportation Patrol to serve and safeguard clients across government and other sectors. As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transit location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and assist passengers and staff with professionalism and clear communication.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour and a daytime to evening schedule.

Qualifications

• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing Certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid Certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to transit passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents and service disruptions in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, and parking areas.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to deter unauthorized access.
• Document incidents and patrol activities according to reporting procedures.
