Job summary

The Davidson Transit Organization, part of WeGo Public Transit, seeks a Scheduling and Service Planning Coordinator in Nashville, TN. You will support service planning, schedule development, and biannual service changes across fixed routes, paratransit, and contracted rail.

Responsibilities include data-driven routing changes, distribution of schedules and stop information, and bid preparation while coordinating with Operations and internal teams. Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in transit operations, transit planning, or scheduling/logistics management with progressive responsibility.
• Bachelor’s or equivalent education in public admin, urban planning, operations management, transportation or related field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data to recommend routing/scheduling changes.
• Prepare and validate schedule data for distribution of routes, schedules, and bus stops.
• Produce and ensure accuracy of driver run guides, postings, and headways.
• Assist with biannual operator bids and annual operator vacations bids.
• Coordinate with Operations to implement and monitor services.
• Maintain communication with internal departments on schedule adjustments and equipment needs.
• Evaluate ridership data from APC software and ensure data quality.
