Job summary

Davidson Transit Organization, Employment unit of WeGo Public Transit, seeks a Scheduling and Service Planning Coordinator to support service planning, schedule development, and material production for service changes in Nashville, TN.

The role involves working with MTA/RTA fixed routes and paratransit services, analyzing ridership and APC data, and coordinating with operations and internal departments to maintain service integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in transit operations, planning, or scheduling with progressive responsibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, urban planning, operations management, transportation or related field.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to work with little supervision and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes data to recommend routing and scheduling changes.
• Assists with schedule development and data validation for routes, stops, and driver information.
• Produces and ensures accuracy of driver run guides, postings, and headways.
• Prepares materials for biannual operator bids and annual vacation bids.
• Coordinates with Operations on service implementation and monitoring.
• Monitors ridership data and communicates findings to internal teams.
