MV Transportation is looking for a Safety and Training Manager in Baltimore, Maryland. This role emphasizes the implementation of compliance programs in alignment with State and Federal regulations while leading safety initiatives and training requirements throughout the company.

Ideal candidates will possess strong transit safety experience, strong organizational and analytical skills, coupled with the ability to communicate effectively across various departments. A college degree or 5+ years of relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working in transit, preferably urban public.
• Knowledge of safety rules and regulations - FTA, FMCSA, and DOT.
• CDS (Certified Director of Safety) and/or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement programs and procedures in compliance with regulations.
• Set tone for training requirements of company and contract.
• Ensure consistent safety culture across all locations.
