Qualifications

• Education and Training - Knowledge of teaching, training, research, making presentations, lecturing, testing, and other instructional methods.
• Communication - Expresses information orally and in writing to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information; makes clear and convincing oral presentations.

Responsibilities

• Design professional educational products that adhere to principles of adult learning and cover topics such as SMS implementation planning and safety data reporting.
• Lead educational improvement initiatives using ISD concepts and evaluate learning impact.
• Assess FTA safety training materials and revise courses to align with safety program rules and continual improvement.
• Design, develop and implement training materials for instructor-led, online, and blended learning using ISD methods.
• Consult with FTA program offices and industry experts to identify gaps in safety training needs.
