Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Transit Safety Security Specialist to lead project tasks nationwide with a focus on risk management per FTA standards and APTA guidelines. The role requires organizational initiative and the ability to guide junior staff and cross-disciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate will perform PHA/TVA work, support PTASP programs, and interact with agency clients and project managers. AECOM offers a global platform with opportunities across transportation projects and compliance domains.

Qualifications

• BA/BS plus 6 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Public Transportation Safety Certification (PTSCTP and/or TSSP).
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
• Ability to pass MVR check.
• Possess or ability to attain U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Development of PHAs/TVAs and mitigations.
• Holding workshops with multi-disciplinary groups/committees.
• CEL/CIL Development.
• Development of DCCCs/CSCCs.
• Direct interaction with agency clients and project managers.
• SSC document and report preparation.
• PTASP development, annual reviews, and updates.
• SSC training for internal and external clients.
