Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Transit Safety Security Specialist to lead project tasks for clients nationwide, applying risk management processes from FTA and industry standards from APTA. The role requires organization, initiative, and the ability to guide multi-disciplinary teams with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will manage PHAs/TVAs, workshops, CSCCs/CTCCs, and direct client interactions, delivering SSC documents, audits, and trainings across the US transit sector.

Qualifications

• BA/BS plus 6 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Ability to pass MVR check.
• Public Transportation Safety Certification (PTSCTP/TSSP) preferred.
• CSP certification preferred; safety/regulatory knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Development of PHAs/TVAs and mitigations.
• Hold workshops with multi-disciplinary groups/committees.
• CEL/CIL development.
• Development of DCCCs/CSCCs.
• Direct interaction with agency clients and project managers.
• SSC document and report preparation.
• PTASP development, annual reviews, and updates.
• SSC training for internal and external clients.
