Keolis America Inc. is seeking a safety professional in Tempe, AZ to lead and support the Safety Management System across transit operations. You will implement safety policies, monitor compliance, and drive corrective actions to reduce workplace incidents.

The role requires TSI TSSP certification, 3+ years transit experience, and strong communication skills. You will work with diverse teams, analyze risk, and conduct regular safety meetings and campaigns to uphold safety standards.

Qualificações

• Must be a certified Transportation Safety Institute (TSI) TSSP.
• Minimum 3 years progressive transit experience.
• Knowledgeable on Department of Transportation (DOT), ADOT
• Experience developing and implementing Safety Program Plans, SMS, policies, procedures and corrective action.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse workforce.

Responsabilidades

• Support the site implementation of the Safety Management System Plan, comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and tools to enhance compliance with corporate direction in efforts to reduce accidents/injuries in the workplace.
• Monitor compliance with the SMS policies and procedures, conducting ongoing safety auditing.
• Ensure all relevant statutory and regulatory safety polices are applied and adhered to.
• Monitor and evaluate the continued effectiveness of risk control strategies.
• Identify and assess new hazards introduced in the workplace.
• Oversee ongoing monitoring and recording of safety performance.
• Contribute to the safety culture through displaying exemplary safety-oriented behaviors.
• Plan, schedule and deliver monthly safety meetings.
• Proactively leads safety improvement campaigns systematically in the field.
