Job summary

WeDriveU is seeking a Road Supervisor in Chicago to liaison between field operations and ensure efficient service delivery. The role requires active supervision of bus operations, adherence to safety training, and strong customer service focus.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL-P (Commercial Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement).
• Open availability – flexible schedule.
• 5+ years of experience in Operations Management; transit industry preferred; college education can substitute for up to 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day activities of operators to ensure compliance with operational requirements for safe bus operations.
• Provides support and guidance to operators in responding to issues (customer complaints, safety, time-off requests) and determines appropriate actions.
• Promotes a positive work environment through coaching and training to maintain high morale and customer service excellence.
• Monitors on-time performance and prepares/submits required reports timely.
• Ensures compliance with company policies; discusses breaches with Operations Manager.
• Collects and audits employee DVIs; evaluates direct-report performance per policy.
