Job summary

MV Transportation in Princeton, NJ is seeking an Operations Supervisor to assist the Operations Manager and the General Manager with daily service delivery, ensuring compliance with contracting agency policies and company procedures.

The role oversees the Dispatch area and road supervision, working with drivers and dispatch staff to optimize performance, safety, and documentation across routes. Requirements include paratransit experience, two years in supervision, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two (2) years’ experience in recent and relevant supervisory position.
• Ideal candidate would have experience in a Paratransit capacity and have experience in scheduling, personnel management, policy enforcement, and training.
• Experience in MS Office software is a must.
• The qualified candidate must be able to work independently and have strong written and verbal skills.
• Knowledge of the contractual obligations is a must to perform this job correctly.
• Knowledge of company policy assures that the operation supervisor is using consistent measures to assess a Driver`s activity.

Responsibilities

• SupervisesDriversandWindowDispatch staff.
• Monitors operationsdaily.
• Reviews staff schedules and daily manifests for efficiency and operational performance.
• Creates reports and compiles all necessary documentation both current and historical relating to operational issues.
• Counsel/coachDrivers andDispatchers as required.Enforce the procedures and policies delineated in the Employee Handbook, CBA, and local division procedures.
• Respond toclient requests.
• Interface with otherdivision personnel to insure the achievement ofdivision goals.
