Job summary

The Regional Transportation Agency (RTA) of Central Maryland is seeking a Transit Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations across drivers and dispatchers at the Annapolis Junction facility. You will provide timely directions, monitor routes, and ensure service quality and safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1-2 years direct supervisory experience and/or road supervisor experience.
• Must be able to operate a tablet, cellphone, and personal computer.
• Intermediate computer knowledge in Windows; Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
• Must communicate in English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises drivers and dispatchers; manages attendance and schedules.
• Provides public transportation information and customer service.
• Investigates incidents and writes reports per policy.
• Monitors operations and routes; coordinates with dispatch.
• Assists in creating reference materials for Dispatchers and Supervisors.
• Participates in supervisory training.
