Job summary

Ben Franklin Transit is seeking a Manager to oversee daily coach-operator activities in Kennewick, WA. You will supervise staff, plan schedules (runcutting), monitor operations, and ensure safety and compliance with federal, state, and local laws and collective bargaining agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field with 3+ years of management experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to supervise and develop staff in a union environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign and supervise the work of staff to enhance quality of services.
• Monitor daily operations to ensure adequate staffing and vehicle availability.
• Develop fixed route schedules and ensure compliance with CBAs and service guarantees.
• Coordinate projects, review work products and budgets, and prepare reports.
