Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage transit operations to ensure safe, efficient service.
• Supervise Transit System Drivers, including hiring support, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and agency procedures.
• Coordinate ongoing training for staff, including CPR/First Aid and defensive driving.
• Train new drivers on policies, procedures, documentation, and communication expectations.
• Manage scheduling and daily transportation operations for efficient service delivery.
• Address customer service issues related to transportation and accessibility.
• Maintain records and compliance documentation; participate in DOT drug/alcohol testing processes.
