Job summary

Transdev seeks an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in directing Georgia North/Gwinnett passenger transportation operations. You will help manage contracts, ensure safe service delivery, and oversee performance metrics across operations, safety, and customer satisfaction.

The role requires leadership, budgeting experience, and strong communication with clients and regulators. Travel may be required less than 5%.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Public Administration, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily transit operations and support the General Manager in achieving operational objectives.
• Provide leadership and strategic direction to operations staff.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, company policies, and regulatory standards.
• Monitor service delivery, safety performance, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Support staffing, scheduling, employee development, performance management, and succession planning.
• Assist with budgeting, cost controls, and financial performance initiatives.
• Foster relationships with clients, community stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
• Support labor relations and union partnership initiatives where applicable.
• Promote safety culture and continuous improvement.
• Travel outside the immediate area may be required (less than 5%).
