Transdev North America, Inc. seeks an Assistant General Manager to support Georgia North/Gwinnett operations, helping direct daily transit services and ensure safe, compliant and cost-effective operation.

The role requires 5+ years of leadership in transit or related fields, with strong budgeting, staff development, and stakeholder management skills. DOT regulatory awareness and union-experience are valued. Eligible US work status required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Public Administration, or related field preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Five or more years of supervisory/management experience in public transportation or related field.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing transit operations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily transit operations and support the General Manager in achieving operational objectives.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and strategic direction to operations staff.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, company policies, and regulatory standards.
• Monitor service delivery, safety performance, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Support staffing, scheduling, employee development, performance management, and succession planning.
