Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma with business-related training and supervisory experience.
• Valid Michigan Driver’s License and Commercial Driver's License Class B Passenger Endorsement.
• ADA compliance knowledge preferred.
• Ability to apply safety practices and manage hazardous conditions.
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong, clear communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
• Experience working with union leadership in a bargaining environment.
• Demonstrates urgency, prioritization, and deadline adherence.
• Experience preparing reports, researching data, and interpreting information.
• Ability to plan, schedule, and organize personnel.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; effective public presentation.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, train, and dispatch Coach Operators.
• Coordinate ADA administrative tasks and compliance.
• Maintain bus routes; perform system maintenance duties.
• Receive and address comments and complaints; investigate issues.
• Conduct driver training and prepare agendas.
• Maintain run/route books and create special service or reroutes.
• Ensure safe work practices and regulatory compliance.
• Lead by example; foster a positive employee culture.
• Provide coaching and feedback to employees.
