Job summary

Tri County Transportation Inc. is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to advance the operations team with sound management techniques and a focus on safety. You will support department managers and teams to ensure timely service delivery while maintaining safety standards.

Your role includes coaching, training, and coordinating with dispatchers, drivers, attendants, and other staff, with a strong emphasis on transparency and task execution. This position reports to the operations leadership.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of transportation working experience or equivalent.
• Must obtain a class B CDL with School Bus and Passenger. We will cover all costs to obtain.
• One (1) year of supervisory experience is preferred.
• High School Diploma.
• Knowledge of DOT and Safety regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure teams know their assigned job duties and responsibilities on a daily basis.
• Provide open communication to team members for transparency and mutual understanding.
• Help employees be successful in completing their daily tasks.
• Provide support to other managers, dispatchers, drivers, attendants, and other employees.
• Train employees on new programs as necessary.
• Provide feedback and coaching as necessary to ensure employees remain safe and compliant.
• Analyze reports and data to ensure accuracy.
• Attend meetings, conferences, and company events as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
