Job summary

Academy Express in New Jersey seeks an Operations Supervisor for Bergen & Passaic County public transit to oversee 2nd shift (1:00 PM–10:00 PM), supervise drivers and dispatchers, and address concerns while maintaining smooth service and safety standards.

You will ensure DOT/FMCSA HOS compliance, coordinate resources with Maintenance and Management, and drive operational improvements, reporting to management. The role demands strong leadership, excel proficiency, and excellent customer service.

• Direct supervision of drivers and dispatch personnel.
• Coordinate resources and execute action items to ensure service delivery.
• Monitor service issues and compliance with policies and HOS rules.
• Audit documentation and verify operator compliance with records.
• Ensure buses are inspected, clean, and service-ready.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Dispatch, and Management to resolve disruptions.
