Job summary

Transdev in Las Vegas, Nevada is hiring an Operations Coordinator. The Operations Coordinator assists the Operations Manager in all aspects of the daily location functions, with a focus on safety and customer service.

This full-time, on-site role requires flexibility, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate bus rotations, driver breaks, and coverage while upholding safety standards and DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL A or B with Passenger endorsement preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and compliance with DOT Part 40.

Responsibilities

• Verify proper uniform of employees and fitness for duty.
• Coordinate bus rotation, trips and driver breaks with assigned personnel and vehicles.
• Monitor operators’ break windows and ensure proper coverage and adherence to break times.
• Foster a strong team environment through effective communication and training support.
• Perform operator safety evaluation ride checks and respond to situations.
• Read maps and interpret transit operating rules and policies.
• Other duties as required.
