Job summary

Transdev in Las Vegas, Nevada is hiring an Operations Coordinator to assist the Operations Manager in all aspects of the daily location functions with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Responsibilities include coordinating bus rotations, trips and driver breaks, monitoring coverage, and supporting training and team goals while ensuring compliance with safety and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CDL A or B with Passenger endorsement preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• DOT drug testing and physical may apply.

Responsibilities

• Verify proper uniform of employees and fitness for duty inspection.
• Coordinate bus rotation, trips and driver break times by assigning Customer Service Representative personnel and vehicles.
• Monitor operators break windows and ensure proper coverage and adherence to break times.
• Foster a strong team environment through effective communication, coordination of training, and support of team goals.
• Conduct Operator safety evaluation ride checks, investigate situations, and resolve operational issues.
• Read maps, interpret transit operating rules and policies.
• Perform other duties as required.
