Job summary

The City of Conroe is seeking a Transit Aide - Operations to support daily Fixed Route and ADA Paratransit operations, monitor contractors, and oversee fleet rotation and safety. The role requires coordinating route designs, projects, and studies within established procedures and budget guidance.

Qualified candidates will have an associate's degree (or equivalent) and at least two years of transit planning/management experience, plus a CDL with passenger endorsement.

Qualifications

• Preferred associate's degree in business or public administration or equivalent.
• Two years of transit planning/management experience with municipal/state/federal agency.
• CDL with passenger endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Support fixed route and ADA paratransit daily operations.
• Monitor contractors and supervise routes.
• Assist with fleet maintenance/rotation and safety oversight.
• Prepare route designs, projects, and studies within procedures.
• Communicate with internal teams and external agencies as needed.
