Job summary

The City of Conroe seeks a Transit Operator to perform vehicle operations across fixed-route, paratransit, on-demand and extended services. You will provide passenger assistance, ensure safety and comply with all laws while delivering reliable service to the public.

Requires two years’ experience driving for public transit, a HS diploma or GED, and the ability to work evenings, weekends or holidays. Starting wage is $19.21 per hour.

Qualifications

• Requires two years’ experience operating vehicles for public transit.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Possession of a valid Texas Class C CDL with Passenger Endorsement.
