Job summary

Keolis Commuter Services is hiring skilled Mechanics A & B in Anaheim, CA. The role requires five years of heavy equipment maintenance, an active CA CDL with Passenger endorsement, and experience with complex diagnostic equipment. Expect a 24/7 schedule and safety-focused responsibilities.

Compensation starts at $44.05 per hour with a sign-on bonus of $5,000. ASE certifications earn a $100 bonus each, up to $1,200 annually, and related mechanical training is valued.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years progressive heavy equipment maintenance required
• Two (2) years technical degree or equivalent experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED and valid California CDL with Passenger endorsement are required
• Experience with complex diagnostic computer equipment and software required
• Must understand ADA equipment, HVAC, brakes, chassis, engine, lighting, gauges, safety equipment, tires and transmissions
• Hands-on experience in electrical/mechanical field service; troubleshooting high voltage
• Experience with CAN networks and multiplexing systems

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance inspections on coaches following checklists
• Fills out work orders specifying parts and labor
• Inspects and verifies problems on coaches using diagnostic equipment
• Cleans, repairs and replaces coach equipment as required
• Test coaches for proper working order including road tests
• UsesCummins Insite, Allison prognostics, schematics, ladder logic, VANSCO and DINEX systems to diagnose complex issues
• Maintains detailed paperwork for repairs and installations
• Performs in-house and road-call repairs with hand, power, pneumatic tools
• Maintains electrical buses and multiplexing systems
