Job summary

Keolis America, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade heavy equipment and ADA systems on our fleet. The role requires strong diagnostic skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the capability to train junior mechanics.

Applicants must have a clean driving record and CDL; pre-employment drug screen and background check are required. This is a full-time, on-site position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• ASE Transit Certifications preferred; pursue additional certifications.

Responsibilities

• Detect, diagnose and repair coaches with emphasis on complex problems.
• Perform in-house and road-call repairs using various tools.
• Upgrade/modify coach systems per recommendations.
• Use diagnostic equipment and software to troubleshoot electrical functions.
• Research problems and provide analysis to management.
• Assist Foreman to track trends, parts usage and costs.
• Test coaches for proper operation, including road tests.
• Complete work orders with parts and labor details.
• Provide on-the-job instruction to mechanics.
• Inspect and evaluate performance of staff.
