Job summary

Allied Universal in Denver is seeking a Security Officer - Transportation Hub to safeguard transit facilities and serve passengers. You will patrol, monitor access, deter incidents, and provide courteous assistance to riders, staff and visitors.

The role requires customer service experience and a state or local security license is preferred. CPR/First Aid certification, computer or tablet comfort, and the ability to lift 20 pounds are also preferred.

Qualifications

Customer service experience is preferred.
A security license issued by state/county/local authorities is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Age requirement: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and transit personnel by following procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities and perimeter areas.
Monitor access to restricted areas and direct authorized personnel.
Respond to incidents calmly and escalate as needed.
Prepare clear reports on patrols and incidents.
