Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security provider, seeks a Security Officer – Train Fare Enforcement in Denver, CO. The role focuses on safeguarding transit facilities, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining a visible security presence to deter incidents.

You will monitor stations, respond to incidents, and perform patrols to identify hazards and ensure safety. This full-time position offers hands-on training and growth within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds (preferred).
• CPR certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• State/city license preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at transit facilities and surrounding areas.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing visitors, and report unauthorized access, suspicious items, or concerning behavior according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, observations, and interactions.
