Job summary

FreshDirect LLC in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Transit Funding & Compliance Manager to lead grant research, application, and compliance across federal, state, and local sources for mass transit operations.

The role supervises grant administration, reports on financial and operational metrics, and collaborates with the Finance Manager and Mass Transit Director to maximize funding opportunities while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Government Policy, Grants Management, Human Services, Public Administration, Urban Planning, or a related field and at least three years of experience in a grant management role.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
• Valid driver’s license from state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Research transportation federal and state grants and funding opportunities.
• Coordinate with Finance Manager and Mass Transit Director to maximize grant opportunities.
• Monitor and report for all active grant projects per funding sources and regulations.
• Maintain grant balances and cash balances for operations.
• Prepare grants, reports, proposals and documentation for applications.
• Represent the County at meetings and events with funding sources.
• Compile demographic and statistical information for grant applications.
• Create and maintain the grant database.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
