Job summary

Green Bay Metro is seeking a Finance Manager to lead and coordinate our financial operations, including budgets, grants, and payroll. The role ensures compliance with FTA requirements and oversees monthly and annual reporting for the transit system.

Responsibilities include maintaining fixed assets, preparing budgets and supporting documentation, and managing grant tracking and drawdowns. Strong knowledge of governmental accounting and GAAP is essential.

Qualifications

• Five years accounting experience.
• Experience in governmental (fund) accounting, budgeting, grant writing, and finance highly desirable.
• A combination of equivalent experience and/or education may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Green Bay Metro's fixed assets per federal guidelines.
• Responsible for reporting all financial functions for Green Bay Metro.
• Ensures financial policies and procedures comply with Federal Transit Administration guidelines.
• Verifies general ledger postings and makes adjusting entries as needed.
• Responsible for payroll functions, including monitoring, reconciling, verifying and recording.
