Job summary

MV Transportation seeks a Fleet Maintenance Manager to lead the day-to-day maintenance of a fixed-route bus operation in Columbus, Ohio. You will ensure contractual compliance, generate routine reports, and manage the maintenance budget while directing a team of technicians and support staff.

Ideal candidates have extensive transit bus maintenance experience, strong inventory and vendor management skills, and the ability to interact with clients and stakeholders to sustain safe, reliable service.

Qualifications

• Has 3+ years managing maintenance of transit bus shop with similar scope and vehicles.
• Experience directing 10+ employees (technicians, service workers, cleaners).
• Experience working with 50+ buses within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance of fixed-route bus operation.
• Ensure all contractual requirements are met and reports generated (daily, weekly, monthly, annually).
• Manage budget for maintenance program and oversee parts inventory.
