Job summary

MTM Transit is hiring a Driver for the Kern Transit service in Mojave, CA. You will provide safe, reliable transportation and deliver high‑quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include assisting with passenger loading, operating in compliance with DOT/ADA regulations, performing vehicle inspections, and ensuring on-time pickups and drop-offs. A California Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21+ and have a valid U.S. driver’s license for the past 5 years.
• Possess California Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation.
• Assist with passenger loading/unloading and mobility devices as needed.
• Ensure on-time pick-up and drop-off for customers.
• Complete pre-trip/post-trip inspections and required paperwork.
