Job summary

MTM Transit is hiring a Driver in Mojave, CA, in partnership with Kern Transit. The role offers a starting pay rate of $19.89/hour with a $1,000 sign-on bonus and requires a California CDL with Passenger Endorsement.

You will ensure safe, courteous transport and assist with passenger loading, accessibility devices, and pre/post-trip inspections. Applicants must meet DOT/ADA guidelines and pass pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s license for past 5 years.
• Must possess California Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation.
• Demonstrate defensive driving skills.
• Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with passenger loading/unloading.
• Assist with mobility device and securement for safety protocols.
