Job summary

MTM Transit seeks a professional Driver in Lake Isabella, CA to provide safe, reliable trolley operation services in partnership with Kern Transit. You will assist with passenger loading/unloading, mobility devices, and on-time pickups while complying with DOT/ADA rules.

Required credentials include a California CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsements, strong defensive driving ability, and a focus on customer service for diverse riders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid US Driver’s license for past 5 years.
• California Class B CDL w/passenger endorsements, at least.
• No felony convictions involving moral turpitude or narcotics in past 5 years.
• No Reckless Driving or suspended license in past 7 years (max 2 lifetime).
• No DUI/DWI convictions.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Must pass DOT Physical and pre-employment drug screen.
• Background check and MVRC check.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation.
• Demonstrate excellent defensive driving skills.
• Assist with passenger loading and unloading.
• Assist with mobility devices and safety compliance.
• Ensure on-time pick-up and drop-off.
• Complete pre-trip, post-trip, and DVI inspections.
• Complete paperwork as required.
• Utilize tablets or electronic devices.
