Job summary

MTM Transit is hiring a Driver in Bakersfield, CA to provide safe, reliable trolley operation in partnership with Kern Transit. You will deliver courteous service, assist passengers, and ensure on-time pickups while following client procedures and company protocols.

Qualified applicants hold a California CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsements, are at least 21 years old, and can pass a DOT physical and drug screening. We offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• California CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsements required.
• No major driving violations in the past 5 years; clean DMV record preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to pass DOT physical and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation to customers.
• Demonstrate defensive driving and professional conduct.
• Assist with passenger loading/unloading and mobility device handling.
• Ensure on-time pickup and drop-off while maintaining schedules.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and required paperwork.
