Job summary

OATS Transit is hiring drivers in Missouri to operate mini-vans, Ford Transits or a wide body bus. This non-profit serves seniors and people with disabilities, offering part-time and full-time roles with day shifts.

Responsibilities include assisting riders, securing mobility devices, maintaining vehicle condition, and completing paperwork. A high school diploma is required and a CDL/Class E with clean record is preferred. Benefits are provided after the probationary period.

Qualifications

• Minimum 23 years old.
• CDL or Class E license with ≤4 points.
• Pass U.S. DOT physical and road test.
• Pass drug screening and random testing.
• Bondable.
• Must be comfortable using a vehicle tablet.
• Able to handle varying schedules and routes.

Responsibilities

• Assist riders on and off the bus with respect and courtesy.
• Safely secure wheelchairs and mobility devices.
• Keep assigned vehicle clean and in good condition.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Use in-vehicle tablet for trip info, updates and timing.
• Complete required paperwork and submit on time.
• Attend routine paid training.
• Follow all applicable rules and regulations.
