Job summary

Alltown Bus Service is looking for a Transportation Coordinator to manage driver schedules and routes, ensuring resources are available for tours of duty. You will log calls, retrieve information, and supervise field routes to prioritise tasks.

The position is onsite, Monday–Friday, with pay between $25 and $30 per hour depending on experience. The role requires one year in transportation, a high school diploma, strong organization and communication, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• One year of transportation experience is required.
• Strong organization, leadership and scheduling skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch drivers, vehicles or equipment to locations per schedules or needs.
• Relay information such as work orders to and from drivers and assistants.
• Use phones, radios or texts to contact employees.
• Assist employees to complete daily tasks successfully.
• Maintain open communication with team members for clarity.
• Support managers, dispatchers and drivers as needed.
• Train employees on new programs when required.
• Resolve problems or service requests by talking with supervisors or customers.
• Prepare daily schedules and work orders as needed.
