Qualifications

• Criminal history disqualifications include felony or certain misdemeanors within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Enforce laws and protect lives and property.
• Serve civil process papers and warrants; patrol county in an official vehicle.
• Deter crime, detain violators, and transport prisoners as needed.
• Prepare incident reports in a timely manner and maintain documentation.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in incidents.
• Monitor and de-escalate disturbances in public areas and maintain safety.
• Ensure compliance with ticketing and travel policies where applicable.
• Adhere to CJIS and TCOLE requirements during the hiring process.
