C-TRAN is seeking a Customer Service Representative to assist riders in Vancouver, WA and the Portland metro. You will provide transit information, process ride reservations, handle sales and deposits, and engage with the public at events.

The role requires excellent customer service, cash handling skills, and proficiency with MS Word and Excel. Flexibility for evenings/weekends is expected. A valid license and clean record are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires four years of high school or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent public relations and customer service skills.
• Ability to use Word, Excel and ten-key calculator.
• Ability to handle cash, make change, and balance cash drawer.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsabilités

• Provide information on transit options, schedules, and fares.
• Screen Paratransit eligibility and arrange ride reservations.
• Process sales, accept payments, balance cash drawer, and prepare deposits.
• Receive and document customer comments with confidentiality.
• Conduct public outreach at events and community groups.
