Job summary

Luster National is seeking Assistant Project Managers to support large, complex heavy civil transportation and water/wastewater programs in the United States. You will manage task orders, track budgets and schedules, and coordinate with contractors, designers, and stakeholders to defend positions on changes and delays.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in transit/transportation PM or CM on major projects, experience with task order contracts, and proficiency in PM software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of transit and transportation PM/CM experience on large (>$500M) projects.
• Experience delivering work under a multiple task order contract.
• Cost and schedule performance tracking experience.
• Experience with public agency capital programs.
• Experience with project/contract management software (Primavera P6, MS Project, Unifier, Kahua).
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite/365.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned task orders on behalf of the owner through all phases from scoping to closeout.
• Track cost performance, review invoices, and forecast program needs.
• Monitor schedule against milestones and analyze critical path movements.
• Evaluate change requests and RFIs for cost and schedule impact.
• Maintain risk registers and elevate program risks to leadership.
• Coordinate submittal reviews and interfaces across disciplines.
